360s Go Round Again
Cockatoos take plate

Another fantastic summer season ends in
spactacular fashion at St. Ignatius College, Riverview.
|
A goal at the one minute mark to the Happy Monday team had the talented 360s scrambling to catch up in a crowd pleasing Riverview Cup final on Monday at the St Ignatius College, Riverview.
The next two goals went to the 360s and just when we thought they had it won the Happy Monday team leveled the score, in front of a record attendance. The well behaved crowd were on the edges of their seat as a penalty shoot out decider loomed large. The 360s held their shape and setup another forward move to secure the winning goal as the siren was about to sound.
A disappointed St Michaels #6 team called for penalty shoot outs to decide the Riverview Plate winner after their nil all draw against the Cammeray Cockatoos. Bad luck boys, the Cockatoos were better throughout the season and were deserving winners of the Riverview Plate.
The division 1 pennant went to the St. Michaels #3 team after their 3-0 win against the Unified Field Theory. Its back to the books for UFT as the #3s were just too good in practice.
The 2nd sivision pennant went to the Riverview #1 team in a 1-0 victory over the St Michaels #5 team.

Congratulations to the winning sides, in particular the Northbridge 360's who claimed their second consecutive Riverview Cup.
A big thank you to all those in attendance as we raised $600 for the Breast and Prostate cancer charities.
We are looking to expand again next season so we look forward to having your club involved again. If you have any affiliate clubs/teams wanting to play please invite them to contact me.
