St Michaels 6's Make Finals

A 3-0 loss means the Northbridge Tigers have avoided another clash with the Silver Shadows in next week's semi finals. The in form St. Michaels #6 team will need a Rolls Royce performance to defeat the so far undefeated Silver Shadows, and qualify for the prized 'Riverview Plate' playoff for Division 2 teams in early March.
An 8-0 scoreline to the 360s completed an outstanding season with a draw being their only blemish. Their opponents, the St. Michael's #1 team must now seek divine intervention if they are a hope of competing with the highly organised 360s in next week's Division 1 semi finals.
Semi Final review:
Division 1: Riverview Cup - Draws decided by penalty shoot out.
360's v. St. Michaels #1 - 7:05 pm:
- Unlikely the St. michael's team will be able to compete.
- Tip: 360's by lots.
Happy Mondays v. Pardon the Offense - 5:55 pm:
- Match of the round. Two top quality teams. Could go either way. Big crowd expected.
- Tip: Happy Mondays. A consistent season.
Division 1: Pennant - Draws decided by higher ladder position.
Unified Field Theory v. St. Michaels #2 - 7:05 pm:
- Unlikely the St. michael's team will be able to compete.
- Tip: Unified by lots.
St. Michaels #3 v. Blood, Swaet & Tears - 6:30 pm:
- Could go either way. Unlikely to be a spectator sport.
- Tip: St. Michaels #3 due to higher ladder position.
Division 2: Riverview Plate - Draws decided by higher ladder position.
Silver Shadows v. St. Michaels #6 - 5:55 pm:
- This in form St. Michael's team has a chance.
- Tip: Upset - St. Michaels #6.
Riverview #2 v. Cammeray Cockatoo's - 6:30 pm:
- Could go either way but Cammeray will out leg their more experienced opponents.
- Tip: Cammeray Cockatoo's
Division 1: Pennant - Draws decided by higher ladder position.
Northbridge Tigers v. St. Michaels #5 - 6:30 pm:
- The class of the Tigers is due to return soon. Will be too good should the #5's have a team.
- Tip: Tigers by lots.
Riverview #1 v. St. Michaels #4 - 5:55 pm:
- Two teams each looking for their second win of the season. Likely outcome is a draw.
- Tip: Riverview #1 by way of a higher table position.
