Issue 3 Welcome
Another week has passed in the new season already. Teams are starting to take shape and Ray has been putting all players through an excellent training program. A huge welcome to the club's new fitness coach Jess. The players will be much fitter in 2010 than previous years. There will continue to be 3 training sessions per week (Tues, Weds and Thurs) until further notice. Reminder to check both websites to see what is happening at present at the club. The websites are located at http://allowayfcjuniors.webeasysite.co.uk (juniors) and www.allowayfc.asn.au (main club site). Training has already started for 2nd division ladies on a Monday night at Alloway Country Club for a few weeks until end of cricket season. Reminder there will be a joint sign on at Martens Oval on the 31st January for junior players and training will start for juniors on Thursday 28th January starting at 5pm.
Golf Day 2010:
Reminder from Issue 2 regarding the Alloway Football Club Golf day. Join two of
your best mates, ( hopefully they can play ) and head on down to Innes
Park Golf Club for a great day of fun and relaxation, hold on can't be
golf then because it's not like that when I play it !!!!
The day commences at 9am Saturday the 27th of February 2010 and is
$25 per person to nominate which includes a light lunch, and yes it's a
three person ambrose.
A drinks cart will be running all day and prizes for the day will
include - overall winners, nearest to the pin and longest drive.

Goose Club:
Friday the 22nd January saw Alloway FC hold their first goose club at Alloway Country Club. Goose Clubs are held every fortnight and is a great fundraiser for the club. The club is looking for 2 senior players interested in running the goose club for the year. If interested the club will pay for your fees for your volunteering. Jobs include selling numbers in goose club and Alloway FC raffles fortnightly, then running the goose club after selling the numbers. If interested email John Tootell at secretary@allowayfc.asn.au. Next goose club is on 5th February.
Fees 2010
Fees for Alloway FC will be due by end of May. Arrangements
will need to be made with registrar Scott Lister senior_registrar@allowayfc.asn.au if you would like organise a payment plan. A deposit
of fees will be needed prior to season start. All fees will be finalised this week, including the deposit amount, and will be included in the next issue.
Gate Duty & Canteen Duty Roster:
A roster will be organised shortly when notified by Football Bundaberg on dates for Gate Duty, Canteen Duty and Raffles. It is a great help if you can lend a hand for 1 hour each time. More bodies involved will help the club immensely.
