Issue 4 Welcome
The season is well and truly upon us already. After a terrible 6 months hopefully the club can take the right steps in moving forward. It is great to see that the juniors are playing well at present. Hopefully everyone had a great Easter and a ready to start up again over the next weekend. Reminder to check both websites to see what is happening at present at the club. The websites are located at http://allowayfcjuniors.webeasysite.co.uk (juniors) and www.allowayfc.asn.au (main club site). All trainings are on a Tuesday for both ladies and mens and Thursdays for juniors and senior mens.
Juniors Player of Week Awards 2010:
It is with great pleasure to announce and thank the support of the Alloway Country Club so far in 2010. The Alloway CC have donated junior player of the week awards, which offers players with a free dinner meal at the Alloway CC.
Goose Club:
Alloway Football Club are continuing to run Goose Clubs at the Alloway CC every fortnight and is a great fundraiser for the club. The club is looking for 2 senior players interested in running the goose club for the year. If interested the club will pay for your fees for your volunteering. Jobs include selling numbers in goose club and Alloway FC raffles fortnightly, then running the goose club after selling the numbers. If interested email John Tootell at secretary@allowayfc.asn.au. Next goose club is on 9th April.
Fees 2010
Fees for Alloway FC will be due by end of May. Arrangements
will need to be made with registrar Scott Lister senior_registrar@allowayfc.asn.au if you would like organise a payment plan. A deposit
of fees will be needed prior to season start. All fees will be finalised this week, including the deposit amount, and will be included in the next issue.
Gate Duty & Canteen Duty Roster:
A roster will be organised shortly when notified by Football Bundaberg on dates for Gate Duty, Canteen Duty and Raffles. It is a great help if you can lend a hand for 1 hour each time. More bodies involved will help the club immensely.
