Curly U10/4 vs Pittwater
With a cool crisp autumn morning surrounding us we gathered at Abbott Rd for yet another round of soccer. As the U10 division 4 boys warmed up there was feeling of excitement amongst them all.
The whistle finally blew and away we went. With some very intense pressure our boys held their positions firm and displayed some very good tactics with excellent passing from Reece and Sam to deliver to Darcy for the first goal in the first 5 mins of the game! As the boys re-positioned and barely caught their breath some more excellent passing and careful handling from Mitch, Will and Tom saw a big boot from Sam and another goal was delivered 2 mins later.
As the pressure escalated our boys at the back wouldn’t let any ball escape them and Cal, Cole and Maxime were very quick to deliver it up through the talented footwork from James and Jasper and Lucas and this gives Sam the opportunity to put another one in then moments later Darcy takes the score to 4 nil at half time. A very hard and fast first half!
With a quick recap and re-shuffle from coach the boys were back on the pitch and fired up, no matter what position they are placed in it is always straight into business and tremendous team work! Only moments into the second half Callum score a goal under intense pressure from Pittwater. Our boys are getting tired and a big break sees Pittwater put in their well-deserved one and only goal for the game.
Never losing sight of a big win or cracking under pressure Curl Curl puts in their final goal over Pittwater and Darcy has taken the score to 6 - 1 our way. A well deserved hard earned win to a very united team and who are always a pleasure to watch!
