This week is our last round before the Semi Finals. We have 7 teams that have cemented their place in the Semis and 1 that needs to win this weekend to ensure their ticket. Well done to everyone for one of our most successful seasons in some time.
All our teams that are in the semis will be away so that there will be no home ground advantage.
On top of the teams in the semis, it is looking like we will be hosting semi finals games at George Kendall. This will mean that if anyone has some spare time the committee could do with some help both in the canteen and around the grounds. We will give some more information next week once we know the final details.
The Mixed Competition Presentation Day is to be held on Sunday 16th September at George Kendall Reserve from 9.45am. The club will provide a BBQ, but drinks will not be provided, so please bring along what you want to drink on the day.
The coaches and managers BBQ will be held on Sunday 9th September from 11-1pm at George Kendall. As always Mary Lou McNamara will be waiting to collect your team bags and drink trays, so if you could please make sure that everything has been returned to the bag prior to the day it should make the process run more smoothly. Could all coaches and manager please respond to Jennene's so that we know how many people will be coming.
Don't forget the Barefoot Bowls Day coming up later this month. This is our big fundraising event for the year so get involved!! The details of the day can be found below in this weeks newsletter.
Last but not lest, our womens team has there last game this weekend. If anyone has a bit of time to kill they would be greatfull for some additional support. They are playing at Max Ruddock Reserve against Lidcombe at 1.15pm.
Good luck to everyone, especially the U12/3 who are are team that need to win to ensure their spot in the semis. Thanks you to for all the effort put in by all those teams that finish their seasons this weekend.
