Before the reserves settled onto the bench we had scored. The team played confidently passing the ball around and trying to set up goals which we did efficiently A vast contrast to the implosion we had last week. Good see the communication between players was positive and constructive. This is the way we need to play no matter who we are against. After scoring 2 goals Christo was hunting for a hat trick running beyond the capabilities of his stocky legs, even bounding in the air for headers as high as AFL players. Still crucial to any good team was the solid defence that was stable and reliable. Andy in the middle gave the team a different edge that seemed to work well.  A good win that keeps us in the top 4. Well done.   

Never mind the end score, we are the only team to score against the division leader.

Not only did we score but it was anyone’s game till the last 15 minutes.  I cannot go on enough about Jarrod’s great goalkeeping, he was fearless. Fraser was instrumental in sweeper and his work rate defending was outstanding. Jon followed the plan brilliantly carving up the defence and unlucky not to score an extra 2 goals on top. Mac, Jack, Ella, Jacob and Elie put in a terrific effort keeping the pressure on marking their opposite and Supporting in the forwards, mids, backs and everywhere. Josh, Seb, Mike, Ben and Yeob where vital to the team defending and chasing the loose ball. A wonderful game that showed we can do it. Now we just have to maintain the intensity for the whole game.

Amazing team play with 8 players when the other team had 13 and constantly subbed!

Tai-Lei and Haylz worked so well together in the mid field doing the 1-2! So much energy and setting up goal scoring opportunities!

Nic the pocket rocket scored 2 goals, great attacking!

Bec and Jane, great defence and  your attacks were very admirable

Helen - didn't know if she was a back or a forward but played a great game and was a great encouragement

Steph- didn't know If she was a back or a goalie so played both! Great humping skills and scaring the other team

Nards- amazing goalie work as always, saving a penalty shot and fearless as ever!
