U19 Match Report
|
The second quarter was a different story. Chucky was as solid as a rock, although he did about as much as one too… Anyway, the Trober's owned the play as they tried to get themselves back in the game. Zak showed he is better off playing for Richmond, pulling a “Watto” and missing 10m out straight in front. Eventually goals got on the board, Carl Joyce the South African import played like a mid, and Ginger Ninja Jarrod was impressive. Mick Gioskos was hard all day, but enough talk about his nether-regions, he played well too. George Stevens showed love inspired footy, after many months of crumbing A----- R-----, it seems she has motivated him into a good state of mind to play footy, B.O.G performance for lover-boy. Geordie was the games “Sue in the Glue”, he must’ve used a lot of PVA to get the ball to stick the way it did into his hands. At the half it was Trober's by 2 points.

The 3rd Qaurter was impressive with the Trober's slightly stretching their lead. Axle came out as if he had been locked up all first half, doing good things in the forward line and as solid as a divvy van. Kynan was a superstar on the wing bombing 2 50m crucial goals. At 3 qtr time is was Trober's by 8 or so.
Last Quarter. There’s only one Tony Lockett, I mean Josh Dunne, impressive marking saw Dunny have 3 shots on goal, although unlike locket Dunny was only to convert 1, once again, the drop punts will come with practice mate. Justin Pigdon tried to pull a Cyril Rioli and curl the ball in from the boundary highlighting the fourth. The Cougars ran out too strong in the end to win by 22 points. And for the first time this year Killer wasn’t W.O.G, congratulations mate, there was no spraying of kicks and fumbling of marks this week, a solid game from a dubious fringe player.

Finesse Award- Now your average Bear weighs 350kg, eats salmon, and hibernates in winter. But Daley Bear proved today he isn’t your average Bear very good around the ground.
Best Crumber- Hooke, as voted by Rosanna
Most inspirational- Huss played as if he had just broken down his door to reach his girlfriend Vicki who was in dire need of help – good mate
Coaches Award- Gill for not changing his tracksuit since Tuesday to maintain their luckiness. And for having a nice spit-roast with Brett and Phillthy
Welcome back award- Alex Brain, after missing two weeks from fencing, and not the manly fencing where you dig hole’s and place posts, the pansy shaking of an oversized toothpick.
B.O.G- Charles Brownlow, I mean Charles William Morgan, superstar. And Stevo.
Thanks to all the parents for getting down to support, mainly everyone’s dad present, or in Picone’s case both his dads. And lucky Brett having a field day for family day, defiantly got amongst the spirit! Go Trober's ;)
