Follow these 4 steps to print your newsletter in full or to print a selection of pages.
As an interim measure I have descried the following 4 step intruction to help you to print either the wole newsletter or a single page or pages of a newsletter.
We are presently developing a tool that will further simplify this procedure and your support and patience is appreciated while we finalise and implement this development.
Step. 1 Click the "print" button at the top of the newsletter.
Use the print buton on the newsletter itself and not the print function on your browser.
We have created our own procedure to do this because most browser print functions will fail to print pictures and text layouts on web sites.
Our print function is identified in diagram 1 below.
Step. 2 Change your printer selection to print as a file.
Diagram 2 shows how to change your printer seletion.
If you are unsure about this step you might need to contact your usual PC support line. Having an ability to convert any document into a PDF frmat ca be very useful in a number of situaions and so the effort will be worth it.
I use eNerds in North Sydney for my PC support and they they are great. Click their image to visit their web site.

Step. 3 Save the PDF file to your computer hard drive.
The PDF file that you just created can be saved to your hard drive for latr use. Diagram 3 describes this process.
Step. 4 Select the page or pages and print.
Your PDF reader program can list an index of pages on the left hand side similar to our diagram 4 below. This makes it easy to navigate to the page you want and print it.
Because the newsletter is a web site it is not an easy thing to set the page so that it prints nicely without cutting an article or item in the middle. I am however working on doing this.
Thank you for your support in using Update Time and I do hope this document has helped you to print your newsletter at Update Time. |
