How else can we help those in the community if we are not plugged into the issues and challenges of the community and have relationships with the people involved.
We do this by networking and leveraging our relationships to deliver outcomes for our club our community and ourselves.
The satisfaction is all encompassing and we should not frown upon this approach as long is it is helping every stakeholder along the way.
The Rotary Foundation and the foundation of Rotary is based on Networking and I would like everyone to keep this in mind when we are present at lunch on Tuesday.
Candy Tymson will share with us how we can become better networkers and in fact better Rotarians than we are today.
This is also the time of the year that our subs are due and I would like to take the opportunity to remind you that it is the time of the year to add a small contribution to the Rotary Foundation.
It will be greatly appreciated.
On an annual basis we as a club donate US$100 per member to the Rotary Foundation. Please assist if you can.
The Art Union continues to challenge us and makes us think of ways to step out of our comfort zone to promote Rotary and raise the profile of our club and in turn funds for our projects.
The selling activity is still very slow, please give us your ideas and thoughts how we can promote and sell all the tickets it is in our interest as members and as a club to ensure we have success in this venture.
See you Tuesday.
