Season 2009 Round 1 Preview - 31st March
|
|
A great start to the season last Saturday with the internal trials on Sunday afternoon at Riverview. We had good numbers with about 60 players participating. I would like to thank Tom Flynn, Peter King, Stewart Wewege and Damian Scroope [day one of involvement in the club what is more] for their help with the BBQ. Thanks also to Aiden McDermott and the referees.
A brief note to remind you all of our Welcome Drinks at the Longueville Bowling Club [The Diddy] from 5.30 pm sharp tomorrow night [Saturday April 4th]. Even if the soccer games are cancelled because of the weather, we have invited our sponsors and it is important that we have a good roll up. There is a BBQ for the family [WAGs and kids from 5.30pm] provided by the club with drinks to be purchased. The presentations are planned for about 6.30 pm. I look forward to seeing you there tomorrow evening.
