The Summer Soccer season has resumed with some "interesting" results in a number of matches.
The Northbridge Tigers were relentless against St.Michael's # 4 scoring 7 unanswered goals, this win cementing their place in the top 4. In suspicious circumstances, the previously competition "cellar dwellers" Riverview # 2, jumped 3 places up the competition ladder with an emphatic 4-0 win over St.Michael's # 3 courtesy of a rare Mark White hat-trick. The St. Michaels #3 team has recently been seen wandering aimlessly around the Lane Cove plaza - no doubt searching for more Christmas Pudding!
The Northbridge 360's put in an other clinical performance, defeating St. Michael's # 1. The 360's remain undefeated and have only conceded 2 goals in 8 rounds. Next week they take on the 2nd placed Chatswood Rangers in a top of the table clash. The Rangers had a narrow victory over the Riverview #3 team and will have to lift if they are to challenge the 360s.
In other news, sources close to the 3rd placed St. Michaels #2 team have discovered tonight's starting line up. The team is keen to defend their so far perfect defensive record.
Their opponents, the St.Michaels #1 team will no doubt study the find very closely. But will they be the ones to penetrate it?
