Pink Witches Spellbound
Tight Results
An unanswered 4 goal win by the Pink Witches this week in the 2011/12 St Ignatius Summer Soccer Carnival was not enough to push them into a top of the table position against the Swifties, who are yet to acclaimatise to the short format game.
Meanwhile the Blue Witches and the Panthers are holding onto the top positions in what is a very close ladies competition. One thinks it can't be long before the White and also the Red Witches stir the pot.
In the somewhat less imaginative Mens competition the results are still tight with the largest margin in round 2 being only 2 goals. The St Michaels 1 team are standouts in Blue Division while Greenwich Rovers and LCFU United sit atop the White Division table.
Congratulations once again to all of our refs for excellent performances and to our players for the family friendly atmosphere.
