The Blacktown Warriors are the largest rugby union club between Parramatta and Penrith. We run four senior teams as well as an Under 21 Colts team, as well as providing tangible support to two local junior clubs, the Blacktown Scorpions and the Rooty Hill Raptors. Our home ground is Charlie Bali Reserve, Doonside, which hosts training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as home games on a roughly fortnightly basis during the playing season. Home games attract crowds of around 300-400 people throughout the day. The Warriors player base is a mix of youth and young families, with a strong contingent of gracefully maturing club stalwarts and life members, the majority of whom live within one of NSW's largest and fastest growing local government areas. The club is also planning to expand into women's rugby in 2011. The Warriors abide by a strict Code of Conduct and are entirely managed and operasted by volunteers (including all players and coaches). All Blacktown Rugby members perform their roles for the love of the game and the club alone.
