Rouse Hill Rams Cricket Club

The Rouse Rams Cricket Club is located in the Hills District playing in the Parramatta Competition. In Season 2008/2009 we fielded 17 teams - 10 Junior (10-16 years of age) and 7 Senior sides (some players are considerably older than 16). In addition we ran an In2Cricket program for our 5-8 year olds. The club started in August 2006 and now has over 300 players. The Cricket Club is one of the divisions of the Rouse Hill Rams Sports which also runs Little Athletics, Netball and Soccer (playing in the Granville Competition). The Sports Club has over 1000 members in 3 short years.

The Rams Cricket Club is based at the Hills Centenary ground and in it's short 3 year history has won 5 Premierships and this season had 5 representative players amongst our juniors. This season our teams catered for all levels of cricketers with 3 teams (the 12s, 14s and 16s) playing in division 1. 10 teams made the semis in season 08/09, 5 progressed to the final and 2 became premiers (our senior B13 & B14s).

While very much focused on the development of our younger players we also provide a great opportunity for senior players to get out on the "park" on a saturday afternoon (6 of the 7 senior sides made the semis in season 08/09).

The players also get to meet socially with some of the highlights being the Annual bus trip to North Sydney to watch the NSW Blues in a one-day game, while our Super 8s competiton is always a fun day.
