The Cudal Rugby Club is situated in central west NSW. It generally fields a team of 20 players and is a small but passionate club.
Cudal is a town of 300 people and the rugby during the winter months is a fantastic opportunity, particularly for those living on farms, to have a social outing and meet with one another and avoid social isolation. The games providing the chance for people to check up on each other. The club's welcoming environment also provides an opportunity for those men living in Orange 40km away, who are overwhelmed by the large clubs based there.
Cudal survives on individuals who sponsor and the pub, however due to tough financial conditions the pub can no longer continue as the major sponsor, meaning that the club will struggle financially this year.
The Club is part of the lifeblood of Cudal and it is critical that we keep it going.
