The Eels Rugby League Club has been competing in the South Australian Rugby League competition since 1984.
In senior grade competition we have been the most successful club in that time winning 9 Grand Final and also been runners up on occasions as well.
We are currently the U12's and U16's Minor Premiers and Grand Final winners and looking forward to the new season with optimism for all grades.
Although the competition in South Australia is small we have a duty to always look at ways to grow the game and improve the standard of service we can offer our members. As the majority of our members are children we aim to provide as safe an environment as possible for their development as players and young adults.
A major focus for the club in the coming years will be to try and move back in to our zone where we can hope to grow the number of junior players participating in the sport.
At present the club has teams available in U6's, U8's, U10's, U12's, U14's, U16's, U18's and senior grades. An embryonic ladies tag competition started 2 years ago and we were represented in the inaugural competition.
With a strong administration at the club we look forward to working in partnership with groups and sponsors to achieve their and our aims in the future.
