Galaxy Softball Club is a club for all ages ranging from 4 years old to our oldest active player who is 59 years old. The club currently has 50 registered players in 4 teams, consisting of T-Ball, Under 12's, B grade seniors and C grade seniors. The C grade team also participates in Master's events (players over 35), the most recent event being the World Masters Games held in Sydney in October 2009.

Galaxy Softball has been in existence for approximately 18 years and we participate in both Summer and Winter competitions at Redcliffe.

At present we are trying to raise funds for end of season trophies for all teams and also for team 'sporting gear' which consists of balls for training and games, helmets, catcher's gear and bats. Fund raising will also enable us to reduce club costs to member and reduce the price of uniforms etc.

The Master's team separately fund raises to help with reducing costs involved with travelling internationally, interstate & intrastate to various Master's only events and we are also looking forward to 2013 for the next World Master's Games which is being held in Italy. Although associated with Galaxy Softball Club, the master's team will definitely consider changing the colours of our uniform and/or our name, if this means gaining a major sponsor.
