Kaniva Leeor United Football is a victorian based club that plays in the strong KNTFL, located on the Vic/SA border. The club is based at the Kaniva rec reserve. The club is the social hub of the Kaniva community, providing both senior & junior grades. The last few years have been lean with our last premiership won in 1985, last playing in the senior finals in 1999. Bottom of the ladder has been a regular spot to be sitting, quite often winless :(
However with a lot of hard work from our members the club has improved no end both on & off feild the last two season being competive in all grades (both junior grades made the finals last season ). Part of this is due to the club running a leased farm, which takes a lot of time for our workers. We have up graded our playing feild and change rooms. Our next project is to not only strive to remain competive on feild but renew our clubrooms as part of the new community building plan.
The community building is incorperating the Our Football, Netball, Cricket, Hockey, A&P Society (Show) & Rotary along with the backing of the West Wimmera shire.
