It is a non profitable organisation helping young children from kindy to year 12 with their school work. It is held after school hours with the assistance of volunteer tudors and parents supervising children while they attend to their school work. It is held during school terms for 2hrs every session twice a week.
It has been running for 4 yrs now and we have about 20 to 50 children attending at a given session.
There are about 10 volunteers plus parents that are involved in the project. It is held at the Community Ministry Church at Bidwill which is a lower socia economic area in the Mt Druitt area.
We sometimes have secured some funding from various sources, however we do our own fund raising as well. For 2012 we have only about $400 left in our bank account.
