The Association is responsible for the organization of netball in Murwillumbah – this includes the annual competitions, coaching players, and providing and training umpires. MNA is known as The Friendly Association and has developed an ability to host fantastically popular carnivals, exploiting the gorgeous surroundings of the Tweed Valley & thecoveted location within the central Knox Park of Murwillumbah.
Nail-biting finishes, spectacular passes and goals combined with fast feet and quick reflexes makes Netball one of the fastest growing sports to watch and play in Australia. At MNA we believe netball is not just about being active; the better you get at it, the more you have to play smart and use tactics - so much fun. Every position is important and, to win, netball must be played as a team. With the focus is on fun, fair play and fitness, MNA & the game of netball helps develop life skills – leadership, time management, social interaction.
