Formed in 2009, Seacliff Hockey Club comprises of 70+ (2009) junior and senior players stemming from Helensburgh, Stanwell Park, Stanwell Tops, Otford, Darkes Forest and as far north as Waterfall and south to Scarborough. We are looking to outfit and supply equipment to now over 100 players in 2010 and provide training and game equipment, uniforms and storage facilities.
The Club’s exposure is gaining momentum every week and by the end of the 2009 Hockey Season, Seacliff fielded 5 teams in the junior competition through to 2 Senior women teams as part of the Sutherland Shire Women’s Hockey Association. 5 of our teams were successful in their grades and made semi finals, 4 went on to finals, and 3 made Grandfinals, with our 3rd grade girls Premiers, 2nd Grade Women Premiers and 3rd Grade Women Runners Up.
We have also just recently started a Summer competition, held 2 nights a week with modified rules in a 5 a side competition.
